KARACHI: Police arrested Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi leader Hafiz Naeemur Rehman from Idara Noor e Haq on Friday.
The JI Karachi chapter had planned a sit-in against alleged anti-consumer behaviour of the Karachi-Electric (KE); however, the police uprooted the protest camp of the JI at Shahra-e-Faisal and arrested Rehman.
However, the JI sources said that now the sit-in against the KE would be held at Tariq Road.
