ISLAMABAD: To curb inflation, mobile sasta bazzars have been set up in various markets of Islamabad.
According to media reports on the directions of chief commissioner Islamabad, sasta bazaars were set up in different markets of Islamabad to ensure availability of food items at subsidized rates to the consumers.
The bazaars were set up on automobiles where tomatoes were sold out at the rate of Rs 50 per kilogramme, ginger and garlic at Rs 80, onions at Rs 25 and potatoes at a price of Rs 20. The sasta mobile bazaars were established in Karachi Company, Peshawar Mor, PIMS Hospital, Abpara Bazar, Faiz Abad, F-10 Markaz and Golda Bazar. Meanwhile, Market Committee Chairman Rawish Dill Khan has said that the sasta bazaars have been expanded to all the union councils of Islamabad.
