KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has extended greetings to the Sikh community on their religious festival Vaisakhi, being observed in Pakistan and other parts of the world on Friday.
In his felicitation message, he assured the Sikh community that they are free to observe and celebrate their religious festivals in Pakistan with all the colours and festivities.
Bilawal Bhutto said that all the non-Muslim citizens have equal rights in Pakistan, thanks to Pakistan’s constitution, gifted by Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
He also welcomed thousands of Sikhs from the world over to Nankana Sahib, the birthplace of Guru Nanak in Pakistan, where they are gathering to celebrate Vaisakhi.
