LAHORE: A group of three robbers on motorcycles robbed and tied up four people in the wee hours of Monday at Malik Park area of Shahdara.
The robbers after looting four people, including a woman, tied up the victims with ropes.
Police were late to the scene despite prompt calls to 15 helpline, said the victims.
The woman who got robbed was on her way to her home after buying medicines for her child.
It is pertinent to mention that the provincial capital has witnessed a surge in crime rate in the last couple of months. Despite establishing Dolphin Squad and Police Response Unit to curb street crime, the increase in criminal activities has put a serious question on the performance of city police.
