LAHORE: Punjab Food Minister Bilal Yaseen asked all price control magistrates to perform surprise visits to Sunday bazaars across the province.
Talking to the price control magistrates at his office on Monday, he said that it is our responsibility to ensure the quality of edible items to the people.
He ordered to ensure the selling of onions, tomatoes, potatoes and other vegetables on fixed rates. He said that he would visit the Sunday bazaar himself in various cities to ensure better monitoring process and those involved in overcharging would be dealt with.
