KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto met newly elected PPP-MNA from NA-258 Abdul Hakeem Baloch on Saturday and discussed matters relating to his constituency.
Sources told Daily Times that the PPP chairman showed his confidence on newly elected MNA from NA-258. The meeting was held at Bilawal House. Abdul Hakeem Baloch won the by-elections of NA-258 recently with thumbing majority on November 28, securing over 72,400 votes.
Pakistan Peoples Party had issued the party ticket to Abdul Hakeem Baloch for NA-258 Malir Karachi by-elections on October 26. Abdul Hakeem Baloch resigned from PML-N as member national assembly and joined Pakistan Peoples Party. Abdul Hakeem Baloch was serving as Minister of State in Nawaz Sharif Cabinet. He was elected from NA-258 on PML-N ticket in the General Elections 2013, the only National Assembly seat of PML-N from Sindh.
