LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif has announced a day of mourning while condemning the blast in Lahore on Monday.
Earlier, an explosion in Charing Cross spread panic and destruction accords the city. The blast killed 16 people while injuring several others. The blast happened during a protest near Punjab Assembly.
Shehbaz Sharif declared that Pakistani flags will be hoisted at all government buildings. “We share the pain of those killed in the blast and we stand with those grieving at this hour of despair,” the CM said.
