KARACHI: Custom police foiled a mobile phone smuggling bid at Jinnah International Airport on Friday.
According to sources, the Customs officials searched the bags of a passenger and recovered 1,200 mobiles phones in shape of spare parts.
The custom authorities took the mobile phones into custody and registered a case against the smuggler. An investigation into the matter was underway, said police.
