LAHORE: As many as 24 suspected people including five culprits were rounded up during separate search operations conducted in various districts of Punjab.
According to the Police, the Melssi City Police conducted a raid in a shop on colony Road and arrested a suspect while also recovering a large amount of fire crackers from the shop.
Police and Intelligence agency personal carried out a joint search operation in Wazirabad and apprehended four suspects. Six Ak-47s, four rifles and 1300 rounds were recovered from the possession of the detainees.
Meanwhile police carried out door to door checking in Dhalay Wala, Bhakkar and rounded up 19 suspecting. Two of them have been booked under violation of rent act
