KHAIRPUR: Four persons lost their lives in separate incidents in parts of Khairpur.
Ahmad Ali Katohar aged 20 riding a motorcycle died when a tractor trolley collided with him near NLC stop on the old National Highway, Khairpur. B-section police handed over the body to his family after legal formalities. The police arrested the tractor driver and has launched an investigation.
Meanwhile in another road accident near Faiz Gunj on Mehran National Highway, Rashid Bhambhan aged 24 riding on two wheelers lost his life after collision with a Mazda Pickup. Faiz Gunj Police arrested driver and body was handed over to his family after legal formalities.
Nazir Ahmed Soomro, a motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries at Nawabshah Hospital after he was hit by a truck near Tharimirwah.
Gull Sher Ujjan died after falling down from a date palm tree near Ujjan. No case has been registered at police station.
District and Session Judge Khairpur, Ghulam Shah on visiting Central Jail Khairpur has inspected the jail hospital, kitchen, and children’s ward and prisoner’s barracks. He also met with under trail and convicted prisoners and heard their problems. He assured them for their redressal. The Deputy Superintendent Jail, Mumtaz Hussain briefed him about the jail activities. 3rd Civil Judge Khairpur, Wazir Ali Bohio and other staff were along with the session judge.
