ISLAMABAD: At least two people died after a speeding vehicle hit them within the jurisdiction of Kohsar police.
According to media reports, Muhammad Mumtaz, father of a victim has lodged a complaint with local police that his son Mehmood ul Hasan and nephew Muhammad Shiraz were on the way in F/7 when a speeding vehicle, with licence number LEF-6, hit them.
Resultantly, both died on the spot while the driver managed to escape. The bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to family members.
Police have registered a case and started an investigation.
