ISLAMABAD: National Highways and Motorway Police nabbed three kidnappers and foiled an attempt to kidnap a girl.
Sources privy to the development informed that the Motorway Police officers SPO Muhammad Umar and PO Qalbe Abbas on Motorway (M-2) signaled a black Corrola car, number LED-1660, to stop, but the driver of the car tried to speed away.
The Motorway Police put hurdles on the road and officers succeeded in stopping the car. Officers arrested three culprits named Ghulam Mohiudin, Mujahid Abbas and Shahid Abbas and recovered a kidnapped girl named Sidra.
Later on, the culprits were handed over to local police for further interrogation.
