LAHORE: Police on Monday arrested a bride for her suspected involvement in the shooting of her husband by two unidentified men in Shafiqabad area on Sunday.
The groom’s father filed a first information report against the bride and her relatives, as he suspected them of being behind the shooting.
According to police, the groom, Irfan, was on his way back home from his wedding when two men on a motorcycle opened fire at his car and then fled the scene.
The incident left Irfan critically injured. He was rushed to a local hospital for medical aid.
