LAHORE: National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP) Inspector General (IG) Shaukat Hayat has said that the projects to be executed under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will usher in a new era of development and prosperity in Pakistan
Addressing a passing-out parade ceremony of the 6th Probationer Course here at the NHMP Police Training College on Friday, the IG congratulated 93 patrolling officers, who completed their training. He hoped that the newly trained officers would raise the standards of traffic discipline and make the roads safer than before.
In the 6th Police Probationer Course, Lady Patrol Officer Shumaila Aslam got first position in academics, while patrol officers Shahzaman, Tariq Ali, Amina Khan Muhammad Javeid also stood first in various categories. DIG (Central Zone) Mirza Faran Baig, Motorway DIG Imtiaz Shah, DIG (North) Abbas Ahsen and several police officials were also present on the occasion.
DIG (Commandant Training Collage) Khalid Mehmood said that he had tried his best to raise the standards of training by adopting various latest methods. He said that the institution was trying its best to inculcate in the minds of all trainees the basic traits of honesty, courtesy and help.
