BANNU: Explosion in North Waziristan injured two security personnel on Sunday, security officials said.
According to security officials, a bomb was planted by the roadside in the Kand Ghar area of Shawal, which exploded when a security forces vehicle passed by.
The bomb was planted to target the vehicle, officials added.
Raddul Fasaad was launched last month by the army following by spate of terror attacks in the country, which claimed hundreds of life.
The operation seeks to ensure the security of Pakistan by eliminating terrorism from the country.
Since the start of operation, hundreds of suspected terrorists have reportedly either been killed or arrested in raids.
