DADU: Sindh United Party (SUP) chairman Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah has announced a long march under title Sindh March on 15 April from Dadu town to shrine of Hazrat Shaheed Makhdoom Bilwal against corruption of PPP led Sindh government, religious terrorism and none securing shrines of Sufi saints in Sindh.
Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah was addressing the press conference at Dadu press club on Sunday. He was accompanied by SUP secretary general Roshan Ali Buriro and Mir Moula Bux leghari. He said that 75percent population of Sindh was drinking water which is not fit for their health. He said that all drainage and solid wastes of towns and toxic water of industries was being released into River Indus and which water also was being for drinking and irrigating land. He said that Sindh government has not taken any measures to stop releasing drainage water and toxic water of industries into River Indus. He said that Sindh province was facing acute shortage of irrigation water and it was serious shortage of irrigation water in Sindh but Sindh government was silent. He said that SUP will not sit silent on water crises issue and raise this issue of water at every forum and will launch a struggle. He said that completely infrastructure of Sindh was destroyed from Karachi to Kashmore but billion rupees budget was being embezzled but towns of Sindh were not improved. He said that union councils in Sindh were not in power hence the problems of poor people were not improved. Talking on Panama Leak issue, he appealed to the judiciary that its verdict should be announced because all politics of Pakistan was depending on Panama leak matter case. He said that real culprits of Panama leak should be punished.
He announced that SUP Sindh United Party had launched a drive against corruption of Sindh government, religious terrorism and lawlessness in Sindh. He said that police was made politicized and 50% police staff was busy in protocols of ministers, advisors and PPP leaders.
