LARKANA: Qubo Saeed Khan police’s Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) and Writing Head Constable (WHC) clashed over alleged illegal gratification distribution that resulted in their transfer.
A dispute occurred between ASI Ayoob Mahotto and WHC Ameer Jan Magsi during which both slapped and punch each other ruthlessly. The onlookers, however, intervened and got the dispute resolved.
When the matter was reported to DSP Shahdadkot, he immediately transferred WHC Magsi to Bahram police station, but the SHO of that police station refused to accept him as WHC. After that, sources revealed, Magsi was sent to police lines of Kambar-Shahdadkot district and Mujahid Hussain was posted as new WHC of Qubo Saeed Khan police station.
ASI Mahotto who is alleged to be involved in massive corruption was transferred to Warah police station and in this way, DSP tried to cool down both the officers. Instead of awarding exemplary punishment to both the police officials, higher police officers kept mum and just relied on transferring them from one place to another which has damaged police credibility which already stands tarnished in the eyes of the people.
