SWAT: At least five children were injured when a hand grenade went off outside a school in Swat on Wednesday.
As per the details, children were playing outside a school in Shamozai Rangeela area when the explosion occurred. The explosion was caused by grenade that was hidden underground. The injured children were identified as Fazl-e-Wahab, Haseeb, Nizamullah, Sanan and Idrees. Soon after the blast, police and rescue officials rushed to the site and shifted the injured children to Saudi Sharif Teaching Hospital. Police said that the grenade was old and hidden under the sands. It is to be mentioned here that in May, around 10 people were injured in five low-intensity bomb blasts in different areas of Shabqadar in Charsadda tehsil. Most of the people injured in the blasts were women and children.
