ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday demanded from Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to extend the time of general elections 2018.
In his letter to ECP, PTI spokesperson Fawad Chaudhary maintained that due to harsh weather conditions in the country, the ailing and aged voters would face trouble to cast their votes, therefore the polling time should be extended from 5PM to 8Pm to facilitate the voters.
It was said in the PTI’s letter to ECP that due to the aforementioned extension of polling time, more people will exercise their right to vote in the upcoming general election 2018.
