HYDERABAD: The Anti-Terrorism Court ordered Anis Khaskheli, the accused in the death of Sindh University’s Naila Rind, into the police’s physical remand for 14 days on Friday.
The Jamshoro police presented Anis in front of the court after a FIR was lodged by Naila’s brother Nisar Ahmed Rind against the suspect on January 6, for his part in Naila’s death on Januray 1 in the university’s hostel.
The suspect was nominated in the case under sections 315, 316 and 509 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), 6/7 of Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) as well as 21 of Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016.
