ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Major (retd)Tahir Iqbal said that trade would gain momentum after the completion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as many countries are looking forward to become a part of the project.
Talking to media, he said that the project would be very helpful in the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
The PML-N also talked about hostility from the Indians and said, “India talks of surgical strikesand instigates separatist movements in Balochistan and while blaming Pakistan for militant activities in its region.They just want to destabilise Pakistan as they are our old enemy.”
He further said that Pakistan was building its defence capabilities to ensure its security.
The PML-N leader also praised Pakistani engineers for their efforts for development of indigenous missile technology.
He described that the ‘Ababeel’ missile test was an important move to maintain balance of power in the region.
