ISLAMABAD: Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria has said that the Indian government should take a look at its own state of affairs before blaming others for terrorism. He added that India had itself been involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan.
According to media reports, at a weekly briefing, Zakaria also accused the Indian government of violating the United Nations’ resolutions in Kashmir. He cited the example of an incident last year, when three boys unintentionally crossed the border in Narowal, but are still languishing in Indian jails. He said, “We contacted the Indian government over the matter, but so far they have not responded.”
He also spoke about the issue of Indian government handing out illegal documents to non-Kashmiris. He also shed light on the fact that the brutality of the Indian state was still continuing as last week, 40 Kashmiris were killed in Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK).
