LAHORE: The famous writer who wrote “Raja Gidh” and many other famous works, Bano Qudsia, passed away on Saturday, with her funeral prayers to be offered in Lahore on Sunday.
The wife of eminent Urdu and Punjabi writer, late Ashfaq Ahmed, passed away in a hospital after a protracted illness. She was 88.
Her funeral prayers will be offered in Model Town at 3:00 PM.
Her writings introduced readers to concepts such as psychology and scientific principles, intermingled with genuine human emotions.
She wrote in both Urdu and Punjabi languages for television and stage with her play, Aadhi Baat, considered a classic.
