KARACHI: It was revealed on Saturday by police authorities that the recently slain Lyari gang leader, Baba Ladla used to move in and around Iran using his national identity card which he surprisingly possessed with such a criminal record.
This was found out after police investigated his documents and cards, and it was also revealed that Baba Ladla used to enter Pakistan through illegal routes and transport huge amounts of weapons unnoticed.
The purpose of his visits is still unknown but it has reportedly been stated that he used to visit Iran through the Chabar area.
Baba Ladla’s gang was involved in the attack on Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) minister Javed Nagori’s office in which his brother Akbar Nagori died and six others were injured.
