ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to initiate a money laundering probe against the notorious criminal Uzair Baloch.
NAB official said that Uzair Baloch would be taken into custody and probe against him would be initiated at a high level.
Uzair Baloch is a gang lord of Lyari, who is in the custody of rangers and provincial government Sindh.
NAB’s officials say that Uzair Baloch has transferred million of US dollars to Dubai on the will of leading and influential personalities, which were used to purchase property in Dubai.
The NAB officials said that the investigations of the money laundering would be forwarded in the light of revelations made by Uzair Baloch. The NAB has decided to conduct this probe after the recent arrest of a leading personality of Karachi and collected evidence about money laundering.
The investigation of NAB in money laundering case has adopted positive development so far and this issue would be resolved with the statements of Uzair Baloch.
