QUETTA: A landmine explosion on Wednesday caused the death of one boy, while another was injured.
The victims, who were brothers, were grazing their goats in the Nushki area near the Pak-afghan border, when they wandered onto a landmine which exploded.
Landmine explosions have taken place in parts of Balochistan, including Sui and Dera Bugti, in the past. But the incident in Nushki took place after a lengthy period of time.
Nushki district is near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Balochistan.
