KARACHI: Sindh Rangers recovered a huge stock of weapons buried in Bagh-e-Korangi graveyard in the provincial capital on Friday morning.
The action was taken over information given from an arrested suspect, said the rangers. During the operation, they found sub-machine guns, light machine guns, 9MM pistols and a large number of cartridges from the city graveyard.
The suspect is said to be affiliated with Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London.
Meanwhile, earlier in Karachi, one such recovery was made in Sakhi Hassan Graveyard.
According to sources, rangers, along with intelligence personnel, reached the graveyard and surrounded it with 15 vehicles. Heavy cache of arms and ammunition were detained during the siege.
