KARACHI: Police officials informed media that a private bank near Punjab Chowrangi in Defence was looted early Thursday.
According to police, five to six robbers barged into the bank and made away with Rs 2 million.
This is the first bank heist of 2017. Last year, 12 bank robberies were reported, out of which 10 occurred in the first four months of 2016, while two happened in the remaining eight months.
