BEIJING: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has expressed full support to the federal government on matters of national interest setting aside political differences.
In an interview with official media in Beijing, he said that the reservations of his province over the western route of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) had been settled and there were no apprehensions about it.
He said that we are ready to extend support for Pakistan’s progress and prosperity. The chief minister said that China is Pakistan’s closest friend and all political parties are fully supportive of its agenda of collective development for the region.
