PESHAWAR: A third patient affected by dengue virus passed away here in MTI of Khyber Teaching Hospital, hospital sources informed.
According to sources, a patient, Imran Khan (22), resident of Mohalla Gujran Charanda Tehkal Payan died on Monday due to haemorrhagic dengue fever and encephalitis.
During the current season it was the third death at the hospital caused by dengue fever as most of the affected patients were brought from the Tehkal Payan area from where water samples have been collected to determine the situation.
