LAHORE: Justice Asif Saeed Khosa, who headed the five-member bench of the Supreme Court that had disqualified Nawaz Sharif last month, on Tuesday underwent angioplasty at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) after he suffered a heart attack.
Justice Khosa was in Lahore where he was scheduled to head a two-member bench along with Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik during the week commencing after Eidul Azha. In the afternoon, the judge was taken to the PIC as he was feeling pain in the chest and difficulty in breathing.
