SUKKUR: The National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP) Kandiaro held a road safety seminar on Friday. The event was attended by a number of notables including traders, journalists, educationists and citizens. Motorway DSP Asadullah Abro and Administration Officer Abdul Rasheed informed the participants that the NHMP has been helping motorists in reducing road mishaps and had made travel on highways safer.
He said that road safety issues need to be translated and trickled down to the public through media.
The seminar educated attendee’s on road safety basics such as drivers following instructions on signboards, using safety belts and not using mobile phones while driving.
