Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has finalised its manifesto for the upcoming general elections and party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will unveil it at a press conference at the Islamabad Press Club this week.
PPP chairman’s spokesman Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar said the manifesto for the general elections would be 10th from the party during the last five decades as its first manifesto for the general elections of 1970 was unveiled by its founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. Former prime minister Benazir Bhutto had given six party manifestos during her life.
Bilawal is going to unveil his first election manifesto which reportedly includes many revolutionary steps and programmes for the people of Pakistan. Khokhar pointed out that PPP’s manifesto carries imminent programmes for the uplift of the deprived and oppressed people of the country.
Meanwhile, former president Asif Ali Zardari has said that PPP has always been a party of every strata of the society. As he welcomed former PTI leader from NA-86 Fakhar Omar Lalika into the party, Zardari said that PPP will take part in the coming elections with valor and determination.
Lalika said that PPP has always strived for betterment of the country as a whole, especially focusing on the downtrodden masses.
