LAHORE: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Sunday said that the government would now focus on achieving sustainable and inclusive growth after bringing economic stability to the country.
Addressing a functionin the provincial capital, he said that international institutions had recognised the improvement in Pakistan’s economy.
The minister said all out efforts were underway to make the country financially strong. He added that the economy had improved during the last three and a half years due to the federal government’s prudent economic policies.
He also pointed out that for the first time in country’s history, the administration had successfully completed the International Monetary Fund’s programme.
Dar added that the government had overcome many challenges in meeting its promises with the people.
