KOHAT: Hardcore terrorist belonging to Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), who was involved in terror attacks on LEAs and executing a jailbreak plan in Bannu was hanged in District jail Kohat on Thursday.
Tahir was sentenced to death by a military court, reported Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
ISPR said, “He was involved in attacking/breaking of Bannu Jail owing to which number of terrorists managed to escape from the Jail.”
According to the army’s media cell, the terrorist was awarded the death sentence after he pled guilty to his offences before the magistrate and the trial court.
