ISLAMABAD: Senate, in collaboration with the four federating units, will celebrate “Constitution Day” on Monday.
This year’s theme of commemoration is “Enhancement of Role and Powers of Senate of Pakistan; to protect the rights of the Federating Units.”
Pakistan’s constitution was passed by the National Assembly on April 10, 1973 and received the Presidential assent on April 12, 1973. As part of the Constitution Day celebrations, a reception will be held at Parliament House on Monday.
