LARKANA: A two-year old daughter of a peasant is suffering from congenital heart disease by birth and she requires immediate surgery for her survival which the poor poverty-stricken family cannot afford.
She is resident of village Balhreji, Taluka Dokri, Baby Sobh daughter of Asghar Ali Machi, who is a farmer. Machi told Media here on Wednesday while holding a protest that he has taken his minor baby to senior cardiac doctors who advised him that she required surgery which is only available at Karachi and the approximate expenditure for the operation is Rs 0.3 million. He said while weeping that he is even unable to feed his family in this price hike era then how can he pay for the operation cost. He appealed to philanthropists, other government & non-government authorities to come forward and help him in the surgery which will help the baby to live her life and earn prayers of the poor family.
