ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan expressed serious concern over the political victimisation of Member National Assembly Jamshed Dasti and alleged that Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) has resuscitated their ‘ingrained’ fascist practices on Thursday.
“Targeting MNA Jamshed Dasti through arrest and torture for being a vocal opponent in National Assembly brings into open the fascist inclinations of the ruling PML-N,” says Imran in a statement released by Central Media Department.
He added that forced starvation and torture by police is coercion and sadism. Imran has stated that sycophants of the PML-N wept incessantly over Sharif family criminal’s appearance before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) and on the other hand political opponents are being victimised and traumatised by using violent means by the PML-N government.
The PTI chairman stated that Sharif family is carrying forward their political godfather Zia’s legacy while feigning sincerity. He cautioned Sharif family to not be oblivious to the fact that they will have to repay for these atrocities.
He also demanded from the government to immediately take measures to release MNA and urged to stop the humiliation of a public representative.
