ISLAMABAD: Two universal telephone help lines have been established by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) to provide assistance to the general public in order to report any suspicious activity.
The public of Punjab, Balochistan and Sindh provinces have been assigned the phone number 1135 and residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA have been given the number 1125 to contact in case of any suspicious activity.
The above mentioned numbers can be dialed via mobile phones or landline numbers.
This decision was made after terrorist activities have escalated in the past few weeks across Pakistan, and numerous raids have been conducted against terrorist hideouts and sanctions in the country.
A statement issued by the ISPR said “Operations are ongoing across Punjab and all over the country and more than 100 terrorists have been gunned down and numerous arrests have been made.
“The countries security and intelligence agencies are working together and making progress regarding the discovery and unsettling of the terrorist networks and its outcome would be shared.”
The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) has conveyed in a message to the masses that “hostile agendas would not succeed and terrorism would be rooted out of the country”
