LAHORE: Unidentified men opened fire near Lady Willingdon Hospital on Tuesday morning, in an exchange which left at least three police officers injured.
According to sources, police forces stopped a car near Lady Wilingdon Hospital, from which unidentified men suddenly opened fire on the forces.
The three wounded policemen were identified as Rizwan, Zafar and Afzal. All three were posted in the Ghaziabad CIA force, police informed. They were shifted to Mayo Hospital
According to hospital sources, two of the injured officers were in critical condition.
The police officers had been off-duty, on the way back home when they were attacked, said police.
