KARACHI: Police apprehended 11 gamblers, two foreigners, two political workers and one thief as a result of operations carried out in different parts of the city on Monday.
The suspected gamblers were arrested from Orangi Town and Pakistan Bazaar and equipment used in gambling was also recovered from them.
Two political workers Nawaz and Fareed were also taken into custody after police raided the Lines area and Buffer zone.
Meanwhile, two foreigners were also arrested and a case was registered against them after they were found living illegally in Liaquatabad.
In addition to this, Yasir, a suspected criminal was apprehend and arms and ammunition was also recovered from him.
