ISLAMABAD: The 10th death anniversary of prominent classical and ghazal singer Ustad Asad Amanat Ali Khan was observed on Saturday.
He was born on September 25, 1955 in Lahore.
He received his basic training in music from his father and famous musician Ustad Amanat Ali Khan. Ustad Asad Amanat Ali Khan started his musical career by performing “Thumri” and then went on to record some of his most popular numbers and ghazals.
Asad Amanat Ali Khan died of a cardiac arrest on 8 April 2007 in London.
