LAHORE: Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Saleh Muhammad bin Ibrahim called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif here on Sunday. During the meeting, they exchanged words on mutual interest of the two countries. The chief minister said that the visit of Imam-e-Kaaba to Pakistan was a great blessing for the country.
He said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia had historical relations based on Islamic brotherhood. “The hearts of the people of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia beat in unison and we together share our joys and sorrows,” he said, adding that the people and governments of both the countries had supported each other in every thick and thin. Speaking on the occasion, Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Saleh Muhammad bin Ibrahim acknowledged the love and respect he received in Pakistan. He said that the Muslim community was well aware of historical relations between the two countries. He said that enemies of both the countries had fixed their eyes on the exemplary friendship between Pakistan Saudi Arabia. He, however, said that all such conspiracies would be failed. He said both the countries were victims of terrorism, and strong ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia would strengthen Muslim Ummah.
