ISLAMABAD: According to the directives of Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique, 50pc concession has been allotted on railway fares to wives of journalists.
Due to computerized system of ticketing, this concession was restricted and allowed to those wives of journalists who would travel with their husbands.
However, this condition has been withdrawn and the wife of the journalist (railway card holder) is entitled to this concession even if she is travelling alone.
