SHIKARPUR: A notorious dacoit, Salih Muhammad Jatoi, was gunned down by a rival group in the Katcha area of Khanpur Tehsil, in the limits of Kot-Shahoo Police Station, on Sunday morning.
According to police, armed men attacked the village of Manzoor Shah over an old enmity between two groups of Jatoi tribesmen. During the attack, Jatoi – who is a notorious dacoit – was killed. The motive behind the incident is said to be an old enmity between the two groups of Jatoi tribesmen. Neither case has been registered nor has any arrest been made as of the filing of this story.
