LAHORE: At least two fraudsters including a human-trafficker have been rounded up during search operations in different areas of Punjab.
On a tip-off, the FIA conducted a raid in Sahiwal area of Sargodha on Friday morning and arrested a human-trafficker. The detainee was identified as Yaqoob, who was involved in committing fraud of Rs1.5 million with a citizen Aleem on the promise of sending him aboard.
Meanwhile, FIA claimed to have conducted a raid in Faisalabad and arrested Ex-FESCO employee Azam. A case was registered against the ex-FESCO employee for allegedly grabbing Rs40,000 for installing an electricity meter.
The detainees have been shifted to undisclosed location for further interrogation.
