KARACHI: In the early hours of Sunday, Law Enforcement Agencies carried out a raid near Federal B area and apprehended notorious target killer Irshad alias Kantap.
Irshad is alleged to be a part of Muttahid Qaumi Movement (MQM). Irshad was involved in multiple cases of murder and attempts to murder. Recently, he returned from South Africa and was residing at a house in Federal B Area.
Meanwhile, Sir Syed police arrested and registered a case against at least three suspects for possessing narcotics and weapons. Korangi Police also arrested an alleged drug peddler and street criminal.
On Thursday, another suspected target killer was arrested from Surjani town.
According to a JIT report, the target killer Zeeshan, confessed to killing rival political opponents and five personnel of the special branch in 2015. He also confessed to his involvement in extortion and land grabbing in District Central.
