RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army has given assurance of full assistance for smooth conduct of population census in the country.
The assurance came during a coordination meeting held on Friday for the 6th Population and Housing Census.
It was attended by Commander Army Air Defence Command Lieutenant General Muhammad Zahid Latif Mirza, Statistics Division secretary, Pakistan Bureau of Statistics chairman and senior civil and military officers.
The participants reviewed arrangements for successful conduct of the census and expressed their satisfaction on preparations. Lt Gen Zahid Mirza assured the participants full assistance by Army as per directions from the army chief for smooth conduct of census.
