KARACHI: Sindh Inspector General of Police (IG) AD Khowaja congratulated police officers and ministerial staff who were promoted to BPS 16 and 17 and hoped that the assignment of responsibilities would be ensured with hard work and impartiality like in the past.
Presiding over a meeting at the Central Police Office in Karachi, Khowaja said, “Sindh police department and its financial administration would be made transparent at all levels and the police would be a real servant force.”
The IG lauded Sindh AIG Establishment Naeem Ahmed Shiekh for ensuring merit and best performance in the province.
The police spokesman said that it was the first time that eight senior most stenographers had been promoted to the BPS-17 from 16. “The 60 office assistants working since 2010 were also promoted to BPS-17 as superintendents. Sindh police’s nine inspectors were promoted as DSP in BPS-17,” the spokesman further informed.
