HYDERABAD: Sindh University (SU) Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Fateh Muhammad Burfat has launched another innovative initiative to establish an International Standards Organisation (ISO) cell at Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah Administration Building.
The cell will work with the objective of paving way for winning ISO certification for University of Sindh. The desired certification will enhanced the university’s image and reputation in the committee of sister higher education institutions in the country.
On the other hand, Dr Burfat has also introduced a novel step of appointing two student advisors from each teaching department, institute, centre to develop sustained and effective interaction between students and the varsity administration.
Each of the two student advisors would be a male and a female; to ensure equal gender representation. The nominated advisors will remain constant contact with the university management for improve and speedy resolution of students’ problems.
